Moving Forward

Throughout the early years of the Gay People's Alliance, newsletters were published by the group, often under the publication title of "Out and Around." These newsletters often provided a platform for voices in the lesbian and gay community to discuss issues. Additionally, it provided a place for publication of various poetry and prose. The article below is a good depiction of the GPA and its maturation into a more established campus group, one that had a multitude of activities and goals, expanding upon ts main goal of support and community to reach into more of an activist realm.
