The “Gutai Card Box” was another way that the group attempt to go beyond typical ideas of art by connecting art with consumerism and connecting with audiences in unique ways. The “Gutai Card Box” was displayed at "11th Gutai Art Exhibition" in the Takashimaya department store in Osaka. The interactive feature of the “machine” allowed viewers to engage directly with art.
