The Bryn Mawr Summer School for Women Workers in Industry was founded as a direct result of the 19th Amendment and white women’s newfound right to vote in both the US and UK. This intersectional outreach of Suffrage, class, and labor is discussed in a speech by its founder, and also folds in discussions of war and pacifism.
